Cream Daisy on Black Viscose Dress Fabric

Cream daisies with pale green leaves on a solid black ground, printed at a regular, generous scale with clean spacing. The high contrast makes it read as a graphic rather than a soft floral.

Printed on soft viscose at 60 inches (roughly 152cm) wide, it has a fluid, weighty fall and a smooth finish. A walking foot or a fine ballpoint needle helps if you are new to sewing with viscose, as the cloth likes to shift under the presser foot.
