Poppy Meadow Cotton Dress Fabric
An open meadow print of poppies and cornflowers with tall green stems, available in three colourways: a hot pink and magenta, a soft powder blue, and a bright scarlet. Each runs as a band of colour across the width.
The cloth is a light summer cotton at 60 inches (152cm) across the roll. It takes a hot iron, handles gathering and shirring well, and behaves predictably under the machine, which is what most dressmakers want from a print like this.
What to make with it: Made for summer dresses, maxi skirts, wide sleeves and anything that needs movement, and the three colourways are easy to combine in one garment.
Because it is a natural fibre, it breathes properly in heat rather than trapping it, which matters on anything worn all day in summer. It also takes dye well, so the printed colours here sit deep in the cloth instead of on the surface.

Care Instructions
To help minimise shrinkage and ensure the best results, we recommend washing or pre-treating the fabric before cutting and sewing. As with many natural and regenerated fibres, slight shrinkage may occur after the first wash. Always test a small piece where possible and follow suitable washing instructions for your intended use.
