Magenta Marble Abstract Polyester Dress Fabric

A liquid marble effect in magenta, violet and acid lime with fine gold-toned veining running through it. There is no repeat you can easily spot, which gives every cut piece a slightly different character.

It is printed on a crease-resistant polyester, 60 inches (about 152cm) wide, which comes out of a suitcase or a laundry basket looking considerably better than cotton would. That makes it a practical choice for travel and workwear.

What to make with it: Best on scarves, kaftans, evening tops, linings and statement panels where the movement of the pattern can be seen.

The case for polyester is straightforward: it holds colour, resists creasing and survives a washing machine indefinitely. For anything that gets worn weekly, packed into a case or handed down to a younger child, it will outlast a comparable cotton by a wide margin.
