Dusty Pink Rose Trail Polyester Dress Fabric

Dusty pink roses on trailing green stems, scattered across a clean white ground with plenty of space between them. The open layout makes it read fresh rather than fussy.

This is a hard-wearing printed polyester, 60 inches (152cm) across the roll, light enough for summer but robust enough for everyday wear. Colours stay bright wash after wash, which is the main advantage over natural fibres.

What to make with it: Suits tea dresses, blouses, nightwear and lining, and it photographs beautifully on gathered styles.

Modern printed polyester behaves very little like the polyester of thirty years ago. This is a light, soft-handled cloth that drapes rather than crackles, and the main thing you notice in wear is that it does not crumple across the lap after an hour sitting down.
