Mustard Ditsy on White Polyester Dress Fabric

Tiny ochre and mustard flower heads with dark green foliage on white, printed at a very small scale in a dense repeat. Neutral enough to work as a background fabric.

It is printed on a crease-resistant polyester, 60 inches (about 152cm) wide, which comes out of a suitcase or a laundry basket looking considerably better than cotton would. That makes it a practical choice for travel and workwear.

What to make with it: Good for blouses, linings, shirt dresses, children's clothing and quilting.

The case for polyester is straightforward: it holds colour, resists creasing and survives a washing machine indefinitely. For anything that gets worn weekly, packed into a case or handed down to a younger child, it will outlast a comparable cotton by a wide margin.

We recommend washing or pre-treating the fabric before you cut, as some shrinkage is normal on the first wash of any natural or regenerated fibre. The fabric is sold by the metre: order quantity 1 for one metre, 2 for two metres, and the length is cut as one continuous piece rather than separate cuts.
