Monochrome Abstract Floral Polyester Dress Fabric

Black and white abstract flower and leaf shapes with chevron and crosshatch fills, drawn in a flat graphic style with no midtones at all. High contrast and genuinely striking.

This is a hard-wearing printed polyester, 60 inches (152cm) across the roll, light enough for summer but robust enough for everyday wear. Colours stay bright wash after wash, which is the main advantage over natural fibres.

What to make with it: Best on shift dresses, wide trousers, jumpsuits, jackets and anything where a bold graphic is the point.

Modern printed polyester behaves very little like the polyester of thirty years ago. This is a light, soft-handled cloth that drapes rather than crackles, and the main thing you notice in wear is that it does not crumple across the lap after an hour sitting down.
