Emerald Green Jacquard Brocade Fabric

The floral damask woven in a deep emerald, with the raised pattern catching light against a darker ground. A rich, saturated colourway that works well under evening light.

Woven on a jacquard loom to 60 inches (roughly 152cm) wide, the design is part of the cloth itself. It has more weight and structure than the printed fabrics in our range, which is exactly what tailored occasionwear needs.

What to make with it: Good for occasion dresses, Asian suits, waistcoats, jackets and structured skirts.

At this width and weight a jacquard behaves more like a tailoring cloth than a dress print. It holds a hard press, supports a collar or a peplum without extra layers, and gives a finished garment the weight that reads as expensive on the hanger.
